We could set up a twinning scheme to link local organisations/communities with counterparts in places like Leeds and Bradford. There could be annual gatherings and events where those groups come and visit us. Imagine for example, an annual schools cricket match between a school in Settle and a school in Bradford. Families from Bradford would come up to the Dales. We could learn from the industrial heritage of Leeds/Bradford and link it to our local history. Set up lasting relationships etc
